Russian question about free practising (liberté de pratique)

Victor KOMAROV a écrit:

Bonjour.

Would you explain this point in the

*La charte du speleologue*
http://ffspeleo.fr/federation/textes/et … speleo.pdf  ?

*La FFS, fédération délégataire de service public, entend rappeler
les grands principes qui la régissent et dont le respect
est le meilleur garant de LA LIBERTÉ DE PRATIQUE.*

1. Are *les grands principes* 8 points of *La charte du speleologue*?
2. Little more about  LA LIBERTÉ DE PRATIQUE, svp.

Au revoir

Hello Victor

Here is a short answer to both questions you asked, a few weeks ago on a
French mailing list [speleos-fr], about the *charte du speleologue* (Chart
of Caver)
http://ffspeleo.fr/federation/textes/et … speleo.pdf

"La FFS, fédération délégataire de service public, entend rappeler
les grands principes qui la régissent et dont le respect
est le meilleur garant de LA LIBERTÉ DE PRATIQUE.*"

1- You asked : " Are *les grands principes* 8 points of *La charte du
speleologue* ?"

We can say YES.
The 8 points in the "Chart of Caver" express main values and principles
which are more or less general basic ethics rules acknowledged by every
caver and 'canyoner' , member of French Speleological Federation (FFS).

2. You asked : "Little more about  LA LIBERTÉ DE PRATIQUE, svp."

LIBERTE DE PRATIQUE ("free practising") is, at present, one of the main
purpose for which FFS is a militant.
This is a balanced notion which expresses the idea that underground spaces
are a general heritage.
Every caver or 'canyoner' should have the right to access and visit all
karstic or practise place, provided that he (or she) is respectful of owner
rights, environment and hereabove "Chart of Caver" ethics principles.

You can imagine that such a balance between opposite notions is not easy to find !
Especially for 'strong-minded speleo-froggies' wink

I hope my English is good enough to let you understand these abstract notions wink

Bonjour.

Thank you for explanations, Bernard.

Everything is very clearly.

I hope LIBERTE DE PRATIQUE shall never conflicted with protection of caves.

Also, I think, wise to have *liberte de pratique* to write in english in [speleos-fr]
and get english answer or discussion, isn't it?

Au revoir
